pricing
please note that animations and backgrounds/environments are considered specialized commissions, and the price/timeframe will vary depending on the specifics (e.g. level of detail, rendering, etc.) of each commission.
backgrounds/environments
the commissions i usually get for backgrounds/environments are for use in other projects (e.g. another illustration or animated scene) or custom-tailored to an existing setting (e.g. a story or fic), so these are different from the add-on backgrounds offered alongside the other commission types :0c
isometric room illustration: custom environment design that maps out a room's layout as well as the objects within it through visual development; usually used to supplement stories/fics. roughly upwards of USD 75 / PHP 3500.
background painting: painting of a full scene's background; usually used for animations or games. roughly upwards of USD 80 / PHP 4000.
the prices listed here are just the very general range for each type - if you're interested in either, please do send me a direct message with the specifics of what you have in mind so we can work out the details of your commission! :)
animations
decorative animation (e.g. sparkles, wind effects, lighting effects, etc.): roughly upwards of + USD 10 / PHP 500, depending on the level of complexity
simple character animation (i.e. one character moving their body or interacting with an object): roughly USD 20 / PHP 1000 per second of animation (generally, 1 sec = 24 frames), depending on the level of detail, rendering style, etc.
full scene animation (i.e. an animated scene that includes a character, props, background, etc.): rates vary greatly based on what we're talking about here, so kindly send me a message with what you have in mind before we discuss rates! :)
general guide
1. If you're interested in getting a commission, kindly send me a direct message or an email with a brief overview of what you have in mind. (contact page here)
2. After that, I'll send you a commission form - kindly fill it out with all the relevant information (e.g. your commission prompt, any references you have, specific likes/dislikes, etc.) in as much detail as possible!
3. After receiving the form, I'll send you an initial sketch of your commission. Please look it over and let me know if you'd like anything changed.
4. Payment is expected after you approve the initial sketch. If you'd like to work out a down payment system (e.g. 50% upfront, 50% after completion), kindly let me know so we can discuss it!
For international clients: payments can be made through Paypal, Wise (previously TransferWise), or Ko-fi.
For local (Philippine) clients: payments can be made through GCash or local bank transfer.
5. After receiving payment, I'll work on your commission and send you progress sketches at around 30% (flat colors stage), 50% (initial rendering stage), and 80% (final rendering/details stage). Revisions are free until around 50% completion; after that, depending on how minor or major they are, revisions may incur an additional cost.
6. Upon completion, I'll email you the finished commission in the agreed format (default formats: 300dpi .png for illustrations, 1920x1080 .gif or .mp4 for animations).

terms of service
By commissioning me, you agree to these terms.
By default, I'll send you progress checks of your commissioned piece at around 10% (initial sketch), 30% (flat colors), 50% (initial rendering), and 80% (final rendering/details) completion stages — but if you'd like to request to see the progress of the piece at a different time, please don't hesitate to let me know :)
The finished piece will be sent via email at 300dpi in .png format for illustrations and .gif or .mp4 format for animations, unless otherwise requested by the client.
All commissioned works are for personal use only. Unless otherwise agreed upon, you may not use them for commercial purposes (e.g. printed merchandise, paid promotion, etc.).
The commissioned work may be reposted anywhere after completion (credit appreciated but not required), but you cannot claim the artwork as your own.
Revisions are free until around 50% completion. Any additional revisions (depending on how minor or major they are) will incur extra fees.
If the commission is cancelled before work has started, the client is entitled to a full refund. Otherwise, if work on the commission is already underway, I retain the right to: (a) give only a partial refund (around the 10-50% completion stage), or (b) decline to give a refund for the completed work (around the 75-100% completion stage).
Unless otherwise agreed upon, all payments must be made after approval of the initial sketch. If you'd like to arrange a down payment system, kindly discuss it with me first.
I reserve the right to decline certain commission requests.
By default, I retain the rights to any commissioned art I create, meaning that it's assumed that I still have the right to include the art in my portfolio or to share the art on my social media. If the art is meant to be a surprise (e.g. because it's a gift, it's for a project, etc.), kindly let me know so I will avoid posting progress pictures publicly. If you'd like the art to remain completely private, please know that this may incur a 10% privacy fee.

FAQ:
What if I want to commission a drawing of a character based on a description, like an OC from a written work or a DND character? Or how about if I'd like you to design a character or environment entirely from scratch?
No problem! I'd be more than happy to take this on :D However, please note that this will likely cost more (depending on the level of complexity and additional research or designing I need to do on my end).
If you're willing and able to provide a substantial amount of visual references, though, I can definitely take that off the price ^o^;
How long does it usually take you to finish commissions?
It largely depends on the level of complexity of the piece, but generally for illustrations it can take around 3-7 days, and for paintings it can take around 5-10 days. However, if you're on a waitlist or if there are IRL matters that need my attention, it can take up to a few weeks — but I promise that I do my best to communicate with commissioners regarding the status of their piece! Thank you so much for your patience ;v;
And if you have a particular timeframe or deadline you need me to meet, I encourage you to let me know as soon as possible so that we can work out an arrangement.
